REOPENING | COVID-19 GUIDELINES
The Molstead Library will resume operations for the current semester on Monday, June 15 with normal summer hours. However, some changes have been made to ensure a healthier environment for library users:
BUILDING LOCKED // To visit our space, please come to the main doors of the library building and call 676-7172. A library employee will come to let you in.
MASKS REQUIRED // Per a college-wide requirement, users will need to wear masks in order to visit this space. If you do not have a mask, disposable options will be available.
DAILY SANITATION // Staff will wipe down public spaces twice-a-day (10 a.m. and 3 p.m.) to reduce the possibility of transmission of the novel coronavirus.
CLEAN WORKSPACES // The library will continue to offer disinfectant wipes for users to sanitize workspaces after use. These will be located throughout the library and at the Circulation Desk.
REDUCED WORKSTATIONS and SPACES // The library has removed computer workstations and seating to encourage safe distancing. Users are encouraged to practice those same habits while visiting this space.
STUDY ROOMS CLOSED // Due to the small size of the library's study rooms, access has been removed.
SPEECH LAB // The library has converted its classroom to support COMM 101 courses and can accommodate up to seven students at one time. To record a speech, schedule an appointment here.
