The New York Times may be searched directly from the online version of the paper once you have logged in. If you are not interested in reading the day's news, however, you can jump straight to the NY Times dedicated article search at: https://www.nytimes.com/search/. Search results can be filtered by date range, section (of the paper), and type (article, recipe, video, etc.), and results can be sorted by relevance and date.

What does a Group Pass offer?
Public users can access 10 free articles from NYTimes.com per month, but access to additional articles requires a paid subscription. Setting up an account with Group Pass gives you access to all content on the NYTimes.com site.
Are there restrictions?
Licensing agreements allow users of The New York Times Group Pass to access up to five free articles published between the years 1923 through 1980 daily.
Unlimited access is available for archived articles outside the 1923–1980 date range (e.g., 1851-1922, 1980-present).
Can I access The New York Times when I'm not on the NIC college campus?
Yes. After your pass is activated you can log in to the site or via the app from anywhere!
Can I access The New York Times from my mobile device?
